What is it?

Class begins: Sept.24th for 10 weeks except Thanksgiving wk.

Improvising with Lyrics is a comprehensive practice and study of the techniques Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McRae, Anita O'Day, and Sarah Vaughan used to express creativity in their storytelling. Sharpen your ears, improvise as a horn player, using rhythmic phrasing while melodically building tension and release soloing with lyrics. The more you know, the freer you become all while entertaining your audience.
